Hello! My name is Steven Bishop.
I’m currently an iOS Engineer at Verizon Media / Yahoo! in San Francisco, California.

For the past 6 years, I’ve been afforded the opportunity to help build apps for brands such as HBO, Pepsi, CBC, NYCFC, NCAA, Flickr, Tumblr, and Yahoo (Sports, Fantasy, Mail, Search), among others. I’ve documented my most recent experiences working on a few of these projects.

I’ve been working with iOS since 2012. As my living app icon collection, here is some of my past work. Some were full-time jobs, some were for clients, and some were my own projects.

2017 – Current

Currently am helping build and maintain iOS SDKs for Flickr, Yahoo! Mail, Sports, and Fantasy Sports.

Built and maintained a photo auto uploader SDK to sync photos across devices. Optimized by utilizing file chunking, background pushes, and preventing duplications.

Helped build a machine learning model with the vision team to create a mobile experience that helped users automate digitizing their physical coupons in Yahoo! Mail.

Lots of code refactoring to break up large dependencies into reusable and maintainable components.
